Sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann founded the label in 1991. They quickly expanded and built a loyal customer base.
When starting their label, Nicky designed dresses in their parents' garage and sold them at the Paddington markets.
After some time at the markets, Nicky earned a page editorial in Australian Vogue.
Soon after, she established her first store. A little later, Nicky's sister Simone joined the business and has been integrally involved in its growth.
