Hereu

Hereu distills Mediterranean ease into shoes and bags that work hard in a real wardrobe. Expect braided leather loafers, considered sandals and compact shoulder bags with quietly graphic lines. Each piece sits comfortably next to popular brands like The Row, Marni and Jil Sander in a rotation built on shape, not logos.

Hereu

Our Hereu edit focuses on the pieces you reach for on rotation: braided leather loafers, compact shearling-trimmed shoulder bags, minimal sandals and directional mules. Construction skews clean and practical — boat-inspired moccasins, ballet flats and Mary Janes with secure straps, and low, walkable profiles that handle city days. Colours stay close to the body: black, brown and neutrals with the occasional orange or pink for contrast.

Use this collection to anchor wide-leg tailoring or soften sharper pieces from popular brands like Acne Studios or Maison Margiela. For a quick filter, think in use-case:

  • Loafers and moccasins for office and commute
  • Mules and sandals for warm-weather rotation
  • Ballet flats and Mary Janes for dress codes that shift from day to night
  • Shoulder bags sized for essentials, not overflow

Each Hereu style runs true to its own proportions; check fit notes on individual product pages for length, width and styling suggestions with existing wardrobe staples.

FAQ

How does Hereu footwear typically fit?
Hereu shoes generally follow standard EU sizing, but proportions can vary by style. Loafers and moccasins may feel snug at first and relax slightly with wear, while sandals and mules often have a more open, forgiving fit. Check our product-specific fit notes for guidance if a style runs narrow, wide or long. If you sit between sizes, we usually flag whether to size up or down on the product page.
What occasions work best for Hereu shoes and bags?
Hereu sits in the space between casual and polished, so most pieces handle office, weekend and travel without a change-out. Loafers and ballet flats pair well with tailoring and clean denim, while sandals and mules skew toward warm-weather and resort wear. Shoulder bags are sized for daily use — phone, wallet, keys and a few extras — rather than long-haul packing. The aesthetic complements both classic labels and more experimental pieces already in your wardrobe.
How should I care for my Hereu leather pieces?
Keep leather shoes and bags away from prolonged moisture and direct heat, and store them stuffed to hold shape. Use a neutral leather conditioner sparingly when the surface looks dry, and spot-clean with a soft cloth rather than soaking. Rotate wear days so the leather can rest between uses, especially for braided constructions. Always follow any care guidance included with your order for best results.
Can I wear Hereu loafers and flats without breaking them in?
Many Hereu loafers and flats feel comfortable from first wear, but natural leather will still adapt to your foot over time. If you have a wider foot or plan to walk extensively on day one, we suggest testing them indoors first to confirm the fit. Expect a slight softening and moulding at stress points like the vamp and heel. Our team can advise on specific models if you need a second opinion before ordering.
How do Hereu pieces compare to other brands you carry?
Hereu offers a quieter, Mediterranean take that sits between minimalism and craft detail. Compared with popular brands like Marni or Prada, shapes tend to be more pared back, with texture and cut doing most of the work. They pair easily with tailoring from Jil Sander or more directional pieces from Maison Margiela without competing for attention. If you like product with design character but low visibility branding, this collection aligns well.
