Coach unveiled its stunning Fall 2025 runway at the Park Avenue Armory, showcasing a bold youthful accent in the collection.

Collection Inspiration

The inspiration for creative director Stuart Vevers collection came from one of her favorite movies, Kids by Larry Clark.

Vevers incorporated that youthful vibe into the collection, which was seen in the clothes and accessories—small graphic tops, shrunken leather flight jackets, babydoll dresses.

And otherwise, there was a vintage aesthetic in the designs, such as long shearling coats with a drifted look, distressed jeans, and old-fashioned dresses with delicate patterns that felt pulled from an another era.

Runway Highlights

The highlights that jumped out were clearly the youthful things, like the baby t-shirts and the bags with stuffed animals hanging from them.

And the vintage-inspired outfits—colorful babydoll dresses layered over baggy plaid dress pants, mixing femininity with grungy.

To drive home the vintage vibe, the collection featured sweaters with patches and a worn-in, baggy fit, paired with distressed jeans that looked like they have been loved for years.

In outerwear, highlights included cropped pilot jackets and long, vintage-looking shearling and leather jackets.

Highlight Accessories

Accessories played a huge role in shaping the 90s childhood nostalgia for the collection.

Americans love a comfortable outfit and Coach took the idea to the next level with shoes straight out of a child's bedroom—teddy bear slippers but on the runway.

Leather belts were a statement piece for many runway looks, but not quite as you might think.

They left the end of the belt hanging—like a rebellious afterthought, perfectly undone.

In the models, necks were hanging in some tiny cases like it would be meant for phones, but that was not it.

What they were for is an unsolved mystery, but the vibe they gave was mysterious and cool.

Coach's carefree tone in the collection might just be the sign that fashion is fully embracing a more relaxed, expressive attitude.
