Michael Kors' Fall 2025 runway show at New York Fashion Week brought us a collection that truly focused on the idea of ease.

As Michael Kors himself said, the world has stolen the concept—referring to the fact that ease is something that was originally created by Americans.

Collection Vision & Inspirations

The collection includes comfortable and elegant clothes so we can stay comfortable even when we want to dress to impress.

It was inspired by icons like Lauren Hutton in the 70's and Zoe Kravitz on the streets today to find a style that is modern but relaxed.

Key Looks and Standout Pieces

Michael Kors seamlessly blended comfort and glamour, creating effortlessly chic looks like a knit dress paired with a wool jacket and black knee-high boots.

The ease is evident in the relaxed fit of the clothes—seen in softly tailored blazers, vests and flowing dresses.

The designs look finished and carefully curated, resulting in a consistent aesthetic.

Lightweight and breathable materials played a key role in the collection, with airy, flowing fabrics adding just the right amount of effortlessness to the looks.

The runway remained largely monochromatic, subtly contrasted by pops of green in various shades.

Runway's Best: Highlight Styling

Many of the looks on the runway were effortlessly styled with comfortable yet sophisticated pieces.

Relaxed pieces like polo shirts were paired with structured elements for contrast.

While the over-the-elbow leather gloves used in many looks made a bold, elegant statement.

Flowing dresses were perfectly paired with dress pants, creating a refined yet relaxed feel.

Accessories

Fur was a recurring theme, serving as a styling favorite throughout the collection.

Fur was thoughtfully incorporated into scarves, hats, vests, and even making unexpected appearance bags.

Accessories like leather belts were seen in many looks, either to add structure and definition or to add an extra touch to an otherwise simple outfit.
